1. Acceptance of Terms
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of MTW, a free, independent, algorithm-free audio streaming platform available at mtw.ae (the "Service"), operated by MTW ("we", "us", "our"). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
2. Description of Service
MTW provides a 24/7 underground audio streaming experience, together with community features such as live chat, a friends wall, journal content, a mindfulness sanctuary, and an encrypted messaging tool. The Service is provided free of charge. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time without notice.
3. Eligibility & Accounts
You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service. You may sign in using Google OAuth. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to provide accurate information and to keep it current.
4. User Conduct
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for any unlawful, harmful, fraudulent, or abusive purpose.
- Harass, threaten, or impersonate any person or entity.
- Post content that is hateful, defamatory, obscene, or infringes the rights of others.
- Attempt to disrupt, overload, or gain unauthorized access to the Service or its systems.
- Scrape, mirror, or republish Service content without our written permission.
We reserve the right to suspend, mute, or ban users who violate these rules, and to remove any content that we believe is inappropriate or unlawful.
5. User Content
You retain ownership of content you submit to community features (chat messages, friends notes, comments, encrypted messages). By submitting content, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, display, and distribute that content within the Service. You are solely responsible for your content. Encrypted messages sent through Sonic Messenger are end-to-end encrypted and may be automatically destroyed after being read.
6. Intellectual Property
All Service software, design, branding, and original content — excluding user submissions and third-party music streams — are the property of MTW and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or distribute any part of the Service without our prior written consent.
7. Third-Party Services
The Service integrates with third-party providers such as Google (authentication), Stripe (payments), and external audio sources. We are not responsible for the practices or content of these third parties. Your use of third-party features is subject to their respective terms and privacy policies.
8. Disclaimers
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or available at all times. You use the Service at your own risk.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, MTW shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Service. Our total liability for any claim arising out of these Terms shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the preceding twelve months (which, for a free Service, is zero).
10. Termination
You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time from your profile page. We may suspend or terminate your access at any time, without notice, if we believe you have violated these Terms or for any other reason at our discretion.
11. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by posting the new Terms on this page and updating the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
12. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates. Any disputes arising from these Terms or the Service shall be resolved in the courts of Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
